Hair Loss & Thinning Treatment in Miami

Concerns about thinning or shedding hair are sometimes approached with scalp treatments such as PRP for hair or hair mesotherapy, planned around your scalp at a consultation. These are not a cure, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. At Activate Beauty in North Miami Beach, every treatment begins with a consultation.

What causes it

Why hair can thin

Hair loss and thinning have many causes. Genetics and hormones play a large part for many people, but stress, nutrition, thyroid and other health conditions, certain medications, and the natural changes that come with age can all contribute. Because the pattern and the cause differ so much from one person to the next, no single treatment is right for everyone.

This is why a consultation matters. Assessing your scalp and history helps us understand what may be contributing to your concern, whether a medical cause should be ruled out first, and whether a scalp treatment is appropriate for you at all.

How we can help

Treatments we may consider

These treatments are not a cure and do not guarantee an outcome. Suitability is assessed at your consultation. Depending on your scalp and history, we may consider the following.

PRP for hair

Platelet-rich plasma, prepared from a small sample of your own blood and introduced into the scalp, used as part of a planned course. Results vary, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

Hair mesotherapy

A scalp treatment delivering a tailored blend into the surface of the scalp over a planned series of sessions. Results vary from person to person, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

What to expect

Consultation first, honest by design

Our approach is unhurried and candid. We assess your scalp, explain what these treatments can and cannot do, and never pressure you to proceed. Individual results vary, and we make no guarantees about hair outcomes.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We review your history, assess your scalp, and discuss what you are looking for. Where a medical cause may be involved, we will say so. There is no obligation to book a treatment.

  2. 02

    An honest plan

If a treatment is appropriate, we explain realistically what it may and may not do, and plan a course around your scalp and history rather than a fixed template.

  3. 03

    A planned course

Scalp treatments are typically delivered over a series of sessions. We do not promise regrowth; results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed.
